Silver Summit + Woven Hand shows in NYC, Boston, Philly, D.C.

We're playing in NYC this Tues. Oct 14 at KNITTING FACTORY, opening for the incredible WOVEN HAND (David Eugene Edwards & Pascal Humbert of 16 Horsepower) with BEAT CIRCUS from Boston!!!

This is one of our most exciting shows yet...Shawn & I will be graced by the percussive finery of Otto Hauser (of Vetiver and Espers), as well as the lovely Laura Ortman (Stars Like Fleas, Dust Dive) on violin/guitars and the delightful Alexandra Drewchin on backing vocals/guitars/mandolin.

We're psyched and honored to be part of this really awesome bill, and one of the last shows at Knitting Factory before they move to Brooklyn in December; please come out if you're in the NYC area! We go on second (and the club are strict about times so we'll be on by 9pm).

Tour ends tonight in Long Beach

The west coast tour has been incredible and sadly, it comes to an end tonight w/ our last show at the Prospector in Long Beach, CA. Our percussionist, Daniel, had to return to NYC for work on Sat., but we've had the unexpected joy of friends old and new stepping in on drums--two nights ago, Eli Reitz guested on drums in Oakland and tonight, Ron Rege Jr. from Lavender Diamond, will be guesting on drums tonight for a very special set. What a way to end the tour!

We're busy booking our West Coast tour for the fall...heading out at the end of August with a full band including: Laura Ortman on violin; Ahram Kim on cello/vocals; and Daniel Schubmehl on percussion. Really excited about Portland (MusicFestNW opening for Deerhunter 9/4), and sooooo psyched about a show at the historic (and haunted) Brookdale Lodge in the Santa Cruz Mtns.
